There's a party in my city!

B LOVES Yo Gabba Gabba. Loves it. I bought tickets back in May for a show in December. Calvin was worried that she was too young, but I just knew my girl would be crazy for it..and she was. She was dancing, singing, clapping the entire night. It was the best money we have spent in a long time!!

A little catching up to do

I am sure I have about a million things to catch up on, but right now I can only think of a couple.

We have been busy and not in a good way. 13 days ago my niece, nephew and 2 of their friends were involved in a tragic auto accident. The driver was killed instantly. Hunter and one of the other boys had some minor injuries. Tori was ejected and remains in a coma. We have all been devastated by this. If you know me, you know that Tori is just like my own good. She is always with me and she and Bella are crazy close. I miss that girl so much and can't wait for her to wake up.


My dad and Debbie rented a beach house for Thanksgiving. We headed down there Wednesday morning. The house was right on the water and when I say that I mean, you could fish off of the deck. It was super nice and very relaxing to spend some time there.





So that is pretty much all that is going on in our life right now. We work and we go to the hospital. I am going to try to get our tree up tonight. Tomorrow we are having a big benefit for Tori and then Sunday probably back at the hospital. Bella is doing awesome and growing up too fast. She is super sassy and I love that.

Deer Season!

Well..it's that time of year again. Opening season was this past weekend. We stayed at the lease all weekend and Calvin is still there. He took this week off of work to hunt. Here are some pics of my favorite little country girl!

Trick or Treat!

Although you can't tell in the pics..my little butterfly was a grouch!! And, I was right. We had a tooth explosion this last weekend. She got in a bottom molar and one of her eye teeth, with the other one not far behind it. Hopefully they will come on through and my happy little girl will be back soon.

My baby girl is wiiiiild!!

Oh my goodness, Bella is all over the place these days. She is a climber and she is fast! She loves to scale our big bed and get down by herself or climb up into her highchair when we aren't looking. She likes to hide in closets and shuts the doors. She's also learned how to open the dog kennel and she loves it in there. But her favorite hangout is in the "hammock" under her highchair.

Whew! She is keeping us busy, busy.
She only weighs 20 lbs but the dr. said she is staying on her growth curve just fine. She finally got 2 more teeth, her two top molars. That brings her total to 6. But, she has 3 more big bumps on her gums so I am thinking we are about to have a tooth explosion any day now. She's a pretty good eater. She doesn't like meat all that much, but she will eat it. However, she loves fruits and veggies. She doesn't like milk all that much either, but I get her calcium to her in other ways and we do manage to down some milk each day.
She got her first haircut on Tuesday (by me). I want her bangs to grow up but they were so straggly so I straightened them up a little better.
I love this crazy girl!

TVE Fair

Last weekend we took Bella to the fair..her first one. She thoroughly enjoyed herself and we had fun watching her. We rode a few rides, spent some time in the petting zoo and ate funnel cake.

Visitors!

We had visitors a couple of weeks ago from Colorado...Calvin's brother, Rick and his wife Patti. They stayed for a week and we totally enjoyed it and I am not just saying that because Rick put down new flooring and put up a new ceiling fan for me ;P
