20 weeks! I can’t believe we made it! Here’s what’s going on with the baby this week:
Week 20: Cantaloupe
Baby's digestive system is busy creating meconium (a tarry black substance made of swallowed amniotic fluid, digestive secretion and dead cells), which will fill the first diaper after birth. And, speaking of the diaper situation... baby's genitals are now fully formed!

20 weeks
Not too much of a a difference.We FINALLY got our bedding in, turns out, our stupid neighbor DID have it. And she held on to it until we got in our replacement (which was also delivered to her) and she brought both of them over at the same time. Nice. We still haven’t decided what color we are going to paint the nursery…something light.
Yesterday was my first baby girl’s 7th birthday. Maggie Mae, I love her so much!!
This past Saturday I went to a baby shower in College Station for one of my best friends, Shannon. She is having a baby boy and due in a month.
So that’s about it. Not a lot exciting going on. Calvin has been re-doing what will be our bedroom. He put down wood flooring, new white trim and finished painting the room yesterday. He has some molding to finish up with and then we can finally get moved into the room and start working on the hallway (doing the same thing) and Bella’s room.
