Happy Birthday Bella Boo11

My sweet baby is one year old today...well, at 7:39. She has blessed our lives more than I could ever put into words. We are more in love every day.

Party time!

Bella's first birthday party was a success!! The weather was gorgeous, she had lots of people come to celebrate with her and it wasn't super stressful. Calvin spent soooo many hours working out in the yard and he got tons of compliments on it. We had probably around 50 people over and some drove hours to be there. I am so happy we had so many there to spend her special day with her.

No new pics, just wanted to do a quick post about what's going on in our lives lately...not that it's anything super exciting though!

We have finally gotten some things done on our house. So far our bedroom and the hallway are completely finished. We had a contractor out this week installing some new doors and doing some sheetrock work. We are about to start putting down new flooring in our living room. yay! Can't wait to get moved in there. Also - Calvin has been working SO HARD in the yard. It looks beautiful. Lots of new flowers, plants and flower beds.

Bella is doing good. She is getting big and walking like a big girl. I just can't believe it! What is even more unbelievable is that her first birthday party is this weekend! Looks like we are going to have a pretty big crowd to celebrate this special day with us.

Happy Mother's Day!

I had an awesome first Mother's Day! Calvin made me breakfast outside and we ate out there by the firepit. Afterwards we got ready and headed to Galveston with my mom and Larry. We had lunch and Landry's and then roamed around a little. I got a new Nook and have already downloaded some books!

Getting ready for B's first birthday party...next weekend already. Yuk! I hate that she is growing up!!

Hello!!

It's been a while since I posted! Life is busy and I love/hate it. I am working in our Beaumont office right now and it keeps me away from home way too much! Little Bella is growing, growing, growing! I think she may start walking any day now. She is standing for long periods of time and reaching out wanting to walk. She has taken a few steps here and there. We went to Austin last weekend to see my dad and had a good time. Bella warmed up to them really fast. I was worried about it because she hadn't seen them in a while.

Lots going on in the next few weeks. This weekend I am headed to College Station for Shannon's 30th birthday party. It's a slumber party. I am really looking forward to it! Bella is staying home with Daddy. Next weekend we have family pictures and B's 1st birthday pictures. We have a couple other birthday parties thrown in there, not to mention trying to get ready for B's party on May 22nd. I can't believe she is almost a year old already.

Life!

Ugh, we have been so busy! Work is keeping both of us busy and then the weekends always seem to be filled with a root canal or house stuff or errands to run or parties or SOMETHING! I am ready to have a lazy weekend at home. I am finally finishing up a big project that I have been working on in Liberty and next week I am going to start helping out in the Beaumont office for a while. I am a little nervous that I am going to have a hard time with child care. My mom currently watches B most days, but right now my schedule is pretty flexible. However, when I work at the office in Beaumont I will be on more of a set schedule and definitely will be working every day at the office rather than some days at home. I can't imagine she won't get tired of this...we'll see. I am hoping at some point (soon) to be able to squeeze in a weekend to go to Austin and see my dad. We haven't seen him since Thanksgiving.

Friday we are going to take a drive and try to find some bluebonnets to get some pictures of Bella. It's Good Friday and we all have the day off. I think my niece Tori is even going to come along for the drive. Saturday we have a huge Easter party with the Burnett's. Sunday is church and then a big Easter lunch at my mom's with all of her family. Another busy weekend..... At least we are finally having nice weather.

Can you belive Bella is 10 months old? I can't! She is cruising around so much and getting so fast. I am not ready for her to be walking yet. She is so funny. She is babbling all the time and I wonder what she is saying. She laughs all the time and she thinks I am hilarious! She claps alot and has learned how to "give five". I love her!!

Hmmmm...trying to remember what all has been going on. Life has been crazy busy lately! I am so busy with work, we are trying to do some stuff with the house, and a ton of other things.

Bella is doing great. She is 10 months old this week. She finally got her first tooth on March 16. Can't see it good enough for a pic yet, but as soon as I can, you better believe I will be snapping some pics! She is babbling more and more. Clapping like crazy. Doing the "Itsy Bitsy Spider". And generally just being the cutest thing ever. Did I already mention that? Just look for yourself!



I'm excited about Easter, which is 2 weeks away. Hoping to get B somewhere this weekend to have her pic made with the Easter Bunny.

Calvin and I have been on a diet..I think forever now. Calvin's lost about 20 lbs...I've lost 2. What a jerk! :)

On a sadder note, we found out tonight that Calvin's brother's house burned down this morning. They lost everything :( They are in CO and don't have family there, not sure what they will do next.

So..that's about it I guess. Hope everyone else is doing well!
